As part of the Christmas celebrations, UDS Group of Hotels organized the Cake mixing ceremony.at Uday Samudra, Kovalam. The function was arranged at the lobby and inaugurated by the top officials from the Indian Air force, Army, the Airline fraternity, Hotel guests, corporates, and IHMCT Kovalam.
The cake was mixed with chopped and dried fruits and spirits. Ingredients like cherries, plums, raisins, sweet ginger; black currant, orange peel, cashews, and honey were mixed along with spirits and red wine. There were more than 150 invitees wearing handed gloves, aprons, and chef hats. The entire ingredients along with spirits were mixed thoroughly. It will be used by the in-house bakery to make plum cakes, puddings, and other delicacies.
“Around 500 kilograms of cakes will be made, before X-mas eve and will be distributed to the in-house guest, friends & well-wishers, “said Executive Chef Sebastian.
