Andaman & Nicobar Island comprising 572 Islands, in which 37 are resided, are a group of islands at the juncture of the Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Andaman & Nicobar is a union territory of India. The territory is about 150kms north of Aceh in Indonesia and separated from Thailand and Myanmar by the Andaman Sea.
It is established in 1955. Administrative capital of Andaman & Nicobar is Port Blair. Its judicial capital is Kolkata.
